Marietta Ellen Lamb

Marietta Ellen "Mitzi" (Beard) Lamb, age 80, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born on July 29, 1928 in Germantown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Clifford & Florence (Christine) Beard. Marietta retired from Mound Laboratory in Miamisburg, Ohio. Marietta owned and operated Mitzi's Fabric Shop in Eaton, Ohio since 1989.

Preceded in death by brothers, Donald Eugene "Nix" Beard and Lee Beard; sister, Marsha Miller; nephew, Roger Miller.

Survived by children, Lynda Byrnside of Maineville, Ohio, Deborah Ann Lewis of Eaton, Ohio, Paula Sue Hendricks of Clearwater, Florida and Scott Lee Lamb of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Beard of Eaton, Ohio; nephews, Donald Lee Miller and Ronald Miller.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be held in Germantown Cemetery in Germantown, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
