Marie E. House

Marie House, 76 of Lewisburg, Ohio died on January 31, 2025 at Kettering Health Grandview in Dayton, Ohio. Marie was born on March 15, 1948 in Lewisburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence & Lydia M. (Cotterman) House. 

She had retired after many years as an accountant for Dayton Public Schools.

Preceded in death by her brother, Harold D. House in 2012.

Survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Gerald L. "Jerry" (Mary) House; nephew, Jerry & Wendy House; niece, Pamela Williams; great nieces, Lydia and Shyanne; great nephews, Logan, Cash, Jeffery, and Alex; great great niece, Ruby; several cousins; close friends, Jane Baker, Shirley Hundley and Lois Deem.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH 45338. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.  In Lieu of flowers please donate to the Humane Society of Preble County, 951 South Barron Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320.
