Marie Chappel

Marie Chappel, age 86, of New Paris, OH went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Born on August 15, 1928 in Preble Co., OH, daughter of the late Arthur & Effie (Fleenor) Booher. Graduate of Dixon Township High School. Marie had worked as a clerk for Richmond Supply for several years. Marie was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris, OH and attended the Women's Society at the church. Marie was a member of Delta Theta Tau.

Preceded in death by her Husband of 58 years: William Albert Chappel in 2007; Brothers: Charles Booher in 2008 and Russell Booher in 1990; Great Grandson: Ethan Chappel in 2005.

Survived by her Son & Daughter-in-law: Roger P. & Deresa Chappel of Centerville, IN; Grandchildren: Christopher K. (Kelley) Chappel of Richmond, IN and Taylor Marie Chappel of Centerville, IN; Great Grandsons: Mason Rader and Peyton Chappel; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 301 E. Main St., New Paris, OH with Pastor Jeff Ginter officiating. Interment will be held at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church on Saturday prior to the funeral.
