Marie Alice Schwab

MARIE ALICE SCHWAB, age 90, formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the Brethren’s Home in Greenville, Ohio. Born on December 23, 1912 in New Paris, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Reuben & Otta F. (Brown) Young. She was a 1930 graduate of Jefferson Township High School and was the owner and operator of Mary Lou Dress Shoppe in New Paris, Ohio from 1960 to 1980. She was the manager of the Washington Square Apartments in New Paris for several years and was a member of the United Church of Christ in New Paris. Preceded in death by 1st Husband: Fred Heathcoe and her 2nd Husband: Lewis S. Schwab; Son: Larry Heathcoe; Sister: Myrtle Young and Brothers: Charles and Glen Young.

Survived by Granddaughter and Spouse: Cheryl and Doug Wombolt of Ansonia, Ohio and Grandson: James Heathcoe of Brooksville, Florida; Five Local Great Grandchildren : Ryan, Jason and Stacey Rismiller, Amy (Doug) Hollinger and Gabe Wombolt; Two Local Great Great Grandchildren: Riley and Kara Hollinger. Nieces and Nephews.

A Private Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris.
