Marguerite F. Bradshaw, age 95, of New Paris, OH died Friday March 25, 2011 at her residence in New Paris. Born on June 30, 1915 in Richmond, IN to the late Charles F. and Hazel G. (Sheffer) Carroll. She loved to play Bingo, former owner-operator with her husband of the City Restaurant in New Paris, retired cook from the C. R. Coblentz school district. Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Charles Preston Bradshaw, on March 18, 2005; son: Charles Preston Bradshaw Jr in 1934; brothers: Bud Carroll and Charles Carroll; sisters: Maxine Stover and Betty Lou Daughtery.
Survived by her son and daughter-in-law: James R. and Dana K. Bradshaw of New Paris, OH; daughters and son-in-law: Pat Johnson and Mary Jane and Duane Thomas both of New Paris, OH; sister: Marilyn Rogers of Brownsburg, IN. 15 grandchildren: Bill "Chuck Wagon" Johnson, Sam Johnson, Joe Johnson, Tom Johnson, Kathrine Thomas, Lori Johnson, Paula Lucas, Dan Thomas, Chuck Thomas, Rob Thomas, Doug Thomas, Mitsey Miller, Kelly Greene, Stacey Gooding and Stephanie Witty. 18 great grandchildren. 15 great great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with Rev Steve Whalen officiating. Interment will be in the Spring Lawn cemetery at New Paris, OH. Family will recieve friends on Tuesday March 29, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
