Margie Reckers

Margie Reckers age 73, of New Paris, OH died on Monday, August 25, 2014 at her residence. Born on March 11, 1941 in McKee, KY she was the daughter of the late John & Ella (Townsend) Smith. Margie had worked at Wayne Works and Kemper Cabinets both of Richmond, IN and retired in 2003 from Parker-Hannifin Corp. after 8 years of service. She attended the Bible Baptist Church in Richmond, IN. Preceded in death by brothers: John Smith, Jr in 1999; Robert Smith in 2000 and sister: Ruth Holland in 2011.

Survivors: daughters & sons-in-law: Jenny F. & Ron Tinkle of Hagerstown, IN and Vicki & Ross Bennett of Boynton Beach, FL; son: Joseph Reckers of West Palm Beach, FL; brothers: Arthur Smith and Coleman Smith both of Richmond, IN; George Smith of Spring Grove, VA and James Smith of Phoenix, AZ; sister: Barbara Hollar of New Paris, OH; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio 45347. The funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Fletcher Callahan officiating. Interment will be in Springlawn Cemetery – New Paris, OH.
