Margie L. Allen Cottingim, age 66, of Calhoun, Georgia and formerly of Camden, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2006 at Gordon Hospital following several months of declining health. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Casey County, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her father: Wade Allen in 1999; brother: Frank Allen in 2001; sister: Mary Allen in 1943; grandchildren: Kristin C. Williams in 1981, Candi L. Mathis in 1989, and Amanda Williams in 1990.
She is survived by her husband: Willard Cottingim; mother: Martha Allen; sons & daughters-in-law: George & Sue Williams of London, KY, Jay & Tara Cottingim of Adairsville, GA; daughters & sons-in-law: Rita & Doug Wilson of London, KY, Diane & Donnie Sanders of London, KY, Tracey & Tommy Grooms of Calhoun, GA, Vicki & Roy Barton of Eaton, OH, Tami & Dino Ballinger of Camden, OH; daughter: Glenna Wyatt of Eaton, OH; 14 Grandchildren: Shawna & Claude Gilbert, Michelle Wilson, Paige &Anthony Allen, Shane & Sherron Wyatt, Joshua Wyatt, Andrea Wyatt, Stephanie Mathis, Abby Ballinger, Emma Ballinger, Melissa McRill, Michelle & J.C. Niehoff, Ashleigh Cottingim, Aidan Cottingim, Marty & Missy Robinson, April Williams; 11 great grandchildren: Dakota Allen, Dalton Allen, Destiny Allen, Houston Wilson, Emma Gilbert, Alexis Wyatt, Cora Niehoff, Issac McRill, Kireen McRill, Whitley Robinson, Danika Robinson; brothers & sisters-in-law: Ronnie & Donna Allen, Gary & Carol Allen, Jerry & Linda Allen, Rudy & Judy Allen; sisters & brothers-in-law: Hazel & Stan Andrews, Carol & Lee Montooth, Teresa & Steve Hughes, Leisa & Mike Kloss; sisters-in-law: Linda Easton and son, Darron, Nancy Hensley and son Mark. A host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 - 11:00 A.M. at First Southern Baptist Church - 35 North Liberty Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Greg F. Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society - Preble County Unit - P.O. Box 203 - Eaton, Ohio 45320.
