Margaret Mae Lesh, age 83, of West Alexandria, OH died Friday, March 17, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on April 3, 1922 in Phillipsburg, OH she was the daughter of the late Lee R. & Ada F. (Miller) Garber. She had did area House Cleaning and was a McNess Products Representative for 30 years. At the age of 17, she was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren faith in the Salem District in June of 1939, by Elder Webster Landis. On December 25, 1940 she was united in marriage to Russel Lesh. Russel died in 1988. Preceded in death by Brother: Richard D. Garber in 1979, brother-in-Law: Thomas King in 2000; mother-in-law Blanch Lesh in 1947; father-in-law: Enos B. Lesh in 1977; sister-in-law: Ehtel Lesh in 1983; son-in-law Richard Johnson in 1992; eldest daughter: Phyllis Jean Johnson in 1997.
Survived by daughters: Patricia L. Russell and Shirley A. (Robert) Collins both of West Alexandria, OH; Sons: David L. (Sharon) Lesh and Robert D. (Michelle) Lesh both of West Alexandria, OH; Sisters: Pearl E. King and Gladys V. ((Merie) Benedict both of Greenville, OH; Mable L. (Joseph) Flora and Treva I. (George) Flora both of Brookville, OH; Wilma J. (Everett) Brubaker of Dayton, OH and Betty Y. (Harvey) Bowman of West Alexandria, OH; Sister-in-law: Helen Garber of Englewood, OH; 14 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren; host of relatives and friends.
Prayer service will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 - 9:00 am at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio and Funeral Service 10:00 am at the Upper Twin Old German Baptist Church - Halderman Road - West Alexandria, Ohio with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Upper Twin Old German Baptist Church or New Haven School in memory of Margaret.
