Marcella M. Hager

Marcella M. Hager, 85 of Bradford, OH, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at her residence. Born on May 15, 1930 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harold V. & Edna Beatrice (Cline) Somers. She retired in 1995 after 18 years as a Unit Secretary at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. A 1948 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton; Charter Member (16 year member) Bur Oak Chapter of the American Business Women's Association and a 30 year volunteer at Hospice of Dayton.

Preceded in death by her husband: Edward C. Hager in 2012; daughter: Melissa E. Smith in 2012; son: David J. Hager in 1994; brothers: Harold L. "Jack" Somers in 1992 and Richard M. "Dick" Somers in 2009 and 2 infants 1951 & 1962.

Survived by her daughters: Julianna B. (Jesse) Shaffer, Bradford, OH and Mary A. Hager, Eaton, OH; sons: Lon E. (Barb) Hager, Beavercreek, OH, Kenneth D. (Barb) Hager, Moraine, OH, Peter M. Hager, Dayton, OH and Jeffrey N. (Bev) Hager, Beavercreek, OH; sister: Mary L. (Robert) Tyndall, Springboro, OH; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Special Hospice workers: Donna, Lora, Becky and Pam. Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, OH with Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 – 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
