Maggie Marie Hutchison

Maggie Marie (Vance) Hutchison, 82, formerly of Eldorado, Ohio died Friday, November 27, 2009 at Garden Manor in Middletown. She was born December 18, 1926 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, the daughter of Noah & Bessie Vance. Maggie was a cotton picker during her childhood, and met her husband Charlie, while he was in the Army at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in the early 40's. They married and came to Preble County, where they resided for life. Maggie was a waitress and cashier at Hines Truck Stop, the Wagon Wheel, and the State Line Truck Stop, from which she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charlie Hutchison, who died in 1992.

Maggie is survived by a son, Leon Hutchison of Middletown; 1 granddaughter Lisa Weyler of West Chester; 1 grandson Ed Hutchison of Kettering; 2 great-grandchildren, Griffin & Mason Weyler; 2 sisters & 1 brother of Oklahoma; several nieces & nephews.

The Funeral Service for Maggie Hutchison will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 North Main St., Eldorado, OH 45321 with Rev. Raymond Rothwell officiating. Burial will follow in Preble Memorial Gardens, West Alexandria, OH. Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
