Mabel Elizabeth Archer, age 87 of Lewisburg, OH, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Kindred Healthcare of Dayton, OH. Mabel was born October 13, 1921 in Lewisburg, Preble Co., Ohio, daughter of the late Homer H. And Bessie (Kehr) Kenworthy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Forrest & Harry Kenworthy; Sister: Hazel Mead; Daughter: Judy Heindl in 1977; Grandson: Jerry Baker Jr. in 1996; Great Grandson: Jeffery Jones Jr. In 1993 and 2 infant sons.

Survived by her husband of 65 years: Marvin J. Archer; Daughter: Diane I. Current of Eaton, OH; Grandchildren: Robert & Paula Heindl of Eaton, OH; Daniel & Megan Heindl of KY; Gail & William Werner of Lewisburg, OH; Crystal & John Fox of West Milton, OH; Brian & Shawn Heindl of Versailles, OH; 18 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren; & Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Doug Bottles officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
