Luther Vernon Moore

Luther Vernon Moore, 73, of Eldorado, born on December 25, 1939 in Bristol, VA the son of William E. & Golden May Moore and departed on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at his residence. Luther was a 1959 Eaton High School graduate, served in the U.S. Army and was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Preceded in death by brothers: Jonny A. Moore Sr. in 2003, James H. Moore in 1921, Wallace E. Moore in 1946, Joe D. Moore in 1990 Gene D. Moore in 1991 and William E. "Bill" Moore in 2006; sister: Helen V. Davis in 1992.

Survivors include his children: Matthew Moore, Pamela Pence and David Moore all of Eldorado, OH and Timothy Moore of Hamilton, OH; ; 8 Grandchildren: Stephanie Krickenbarger of Verona, OH; Robert Moore of Eldorado, OH; Deanna Miller of West Chester , OH; Ashley Pence of Verona, OH; Davina Angel of Reidsville, NC; Kristen Moore of Mayfield, KY; Zachary Moore of Camden, OH; Shannon Moore of Ruffsdale, PA and 5 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Jack Moore of Eaton, OH and Lawrence L. Moore of Eaton, OH Sisters :Lexie Killen of CA; Dorothy Davis of Eaton, OH; Becky Hubek of Eaton, OH

Memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Franklin Street Baptist Church – 215 South Franklin Street - Eaton, Ohio with Brothers Lawrence L. Moore and Jack Moore officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Bristol, TN.
