Lucille Jackson

Lucille Jackson, 92, of Waynesville, OH and formerly of Lebanon, OH, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville. She was born on April 3, 1925 in Camden, Ohio, daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Abney) Purvis. She was a retired retail clerk having worked for Big Bear in Lebanon and Gold Circle in Centerville, OH.

In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Harry L. Jackson in 1983; sons, Carey in 2016 and Thomas in 2017; daughter, Ruby Williamson in 2015 and two infants; sisters, Fairy Fisher in 2001, Viola Ross in 2006, Laura Darr in 2009 and Joyce K. Sheard in 2011; brothers, Raphael Purvis in 1993 and Willie Purvis in 2006; grandson, Shane Jackson in 2013.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Loretta Hopkins, Kenneth (Kim) Jackson, Cheryl (John) Bauer, Angela (Chris) Snowden, Greg (Darla) Jackson; daughter-in-law, Kim Wilder; brother, John Purvis; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH.
