Lora Lynn Sawyers

Lora Lynn Sawyers, age 56, of Tyner, Kentucky, passed away at UK Healthcare in Lexington, Kentucky on Monday, September 11, 2023.  Born on April 3, 1967 in Richmond, Indiana, daughter of the late Cecil & Lucille (Reed) Wilkinson.

Lora was a loving caretaker who was always thinking of others and especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Preceded by her husband, James Earl “Bub” Sawyers, Jr. in 2017; parents and many siblings.

Survived by her children, Dustin Philpot, Marti Philpot and Tommy Philpot; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Carol Bates, Billie Stevens, John Wilkinson, Patti Bates, Cora McCollumn; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
