To my Friends, “You were my Family – I Love you more than you know.”
To my Girls, “You were my Sisters, Mothers, Confidants, Taskmasters, Slave Drivers and my Bitches. You were my World. You kept me when I tried to run, loved me when I tried to hate and brought God back into my life.” To Karen, “You taught me to think of others, that they do not think how I do. You were my voice of reason many times.” To Janice, “You taught me to try to be more Lady like – No cussing!” To Chrissy, “You taught me Patience and what Friendship really means.” To all my Girls, “You all taught me how to Love me, how to Love people and that Old Ladies don’t just play bingo and bitch about the neighbors. Thank-you for letting me be part of the cool kids and letting me sit with you.” Signed, Lopin Liu “Lopi” Disbennett.
I have walked 1000 miles
And smiled 1000 smiles
Given a million hugs
To Everyone I Met.
I’ve Loved when not
Hated and forgot
And smelled every flower on the way.
I Danced in the rain
Sang in tunnels and jumped off cliffs
Nothing would I miss but one –
The Love you gave –
The memories we shared
The trouble we created.
I Love you.
I am not far
Though eyes can deceive
I am with you always
Look within and see.
I Love you.
