Lois J. Spitler

Lois J. Spitler, age 83, of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN following a short illness.

Lois was born May 30, 1927, in Darke County, the daughter of Bert & Bessie (Roberts) Spitler. She was a graduate of Monroe High School, West Manchester, OH., and worked at Sears, Richmond, IN for 32 years.

She was an avid reader, and loved her family. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; brother Lowell Spitler (1979); brother-in-law Delbert Wehrley (1993) & sister Ruth Wehrley (2001).

Survivors include her nephew Michael Wehrley (wife Rosemary) & their daughter Jane Collier (husband Robert); niece JoEllen Mason & her son Jeremy Turner; and several cousins.

The Funeral Service for Lois J. Spitler will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 2:00PM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, OH. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, OH. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
