Lois E. Michael

Lois E. Michael, age 89, of Camden, Ohio died on Friday, June 25, 2010 at her residence. Born on December 7, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Louis A. & Bessie Mae (Heffner) Osterberger. She was a secretary-bookkeeper for Darrell's Heating & Plumbing in Camden, member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. & American Legion in Camden, Ohio. She ran for Mayor in Camden, Ohio and was active in Bowling. Preceded in death by Brothers: Rene L. Osterberger in 1988; John H. Osterberger in 2002 and Howard E. Osterberger in 2003.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years: Darrell W. Michael; Children: Robert & Sue Hinshaw of Tipp City, Ohio and Dan & Judy Michael of Camden, Ohio; sisters: Mary Louise Barnett of Eaton, Ohio and Rita Mae Walters of Gratis, Ohio; Grandchildren: Danny Michael Jr., Brandi Michael, Jeff Hinshaw, Christe Hinshaw, Michelle Hileman; 5 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio. Family will receive friends Monday, June 28, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
