Lloyd W. Doty

Lloyd W. Doty, age 95, formerly of Camden, OH, died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville, OH. Born on March 9, 1919 in Eaton, Ohio, son of the late Harry Everett & Olive (Hill) Doty. He retired after 33 years of service with General Motors, Frigidaire Division. Lloyd proudly served in the US Army, 107th Calvary during World War II. Member of the American Legion Post 377 and the VFW Post 1577 both of Camden, Ohio. The family would like to thank the staff of Woodland Country Manor for all their Love & Care.

Preceded in death by Wife, Teresa Doty in 1987; Wife, Helen D. Doty in 2014; Brothers, William F. Doty in 1959 and Dale E. Doty in 2002; Granddaughter, Lisa Ann Schmidt in 1979; Great Granddaughter, Hannah Earls in 2002; Great Grandson, Johnathan Salyer in 1990.

Survived by his Sons, Allen L. Doty of Camden, Ohio and David M. (Diana) Doty of Eaton, Ohio; Daughters, Janet Salyer of Monroe, Ohio, Linda & Denvis Earls of Wilmington, Ohio, Beverly & Keith Schmidt of Eaton, Ohio, Marcia & Edward Nantz of Middletown, Ohio; 16 Grandchildren, 41 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Nein Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, Ohio with Rev. Jim Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio with Full Military Honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
