Lisa Kay Burrows

Lisa Kay (Gibson) Burrows, age 57 of Eaton, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Born on June 28, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Herbert H. & Nadine A. (Wesselman) Gibson.

Lisa was a 1983 graduate of Eaton High School and attended Cumberland College & Miami University. She began a full-time career with Herb Gibson Insurance in 1988. Working along her father for many years she had recently taken over for Herb in 2019. In 2022 Lisa found out that she had cancer. She retired in 2022 after 34 years as an insurance agent of Gibson Insurance in Eaton, Ohio. She remained Owner of Gibson Insurance of which her father Herb had started in 1953.

She loved to draw, paint and go on trips with her devoted husband, Patrick. She was also co-founder of the Wraith Hunters of Ohio and enjoyed Ghost Hunting with several of her fellow members and friends.

Survived by her husband of 18 years, Patrick Scott Burrows, Sr.; son, Tony (Tiffiny) Campbell; stepson, Scott (Dr. Jordan Hickey) Burrows, Jr.; stepdaughter, Sarah Burrows & fiancé Casey Holsopple; father & mother, Herbert H. “Herb” & Nadine A. Gibson; brother, Mark (Bonnie) Gibson; grandson, Carter Shurts; best friend, Denise “Niecey” Lee-Howe; beloved fur babies, Max and Teddy Bear; a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
