Linda Kakias

Linda (Rose) Kakias, 65, of Eldorado, Ohio passed away suddenly on December 31, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1948 in Greenville, Ohio to Stanley & Lucy (Shiverdecker) Rose, and was a graduate of Monroe High School, West Manchester, Oh.

She worked for many years at Baxter Industries, and retired from Green Tokai about 4 years ago. On June 1, 1991, she married the love of her life, Thomas Kakias. They traveled throughout many states, including Hawaii, and went to Tom's native country of Greece. Linda attended many Greek festivals with Tom, and liked learning about other cultures. She enjoyed reading, especially about the Amish way of life. Her hobby was working crossword puzzles. She was a lover of animals, but even more, she loved her family. The one trait that Tom loved most about her was that she was always searching for the truth in everything. She was a wonderful, loving wife.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Rose. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Kakias; mother, Lucy Rose of Eldorado; brother, Stan (Sandi) Rose of Camden; sister, Ellen Mae (Ron) Wilburn of Michigan; nephews & niece, Rick, Robbie, Stephen, & Stacey.

The Funeral Service for Linda Kakias will be Friday, January 3rd, 2014 at the Eldorado United Methodist Church, 341 Main St., at 2:00 P.M. Friends may call from 12 Noon – 2:00 P.M. at the church.
