Linda C. Hicks

LINDA C. HICKS, 49, of Oxford, OH, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. Linda was born on December 17, 1961 in Oxford. She was a 1980 graduate of Eaton High School; a banker for several years at the Somerville National Bank and a service representative at GC Services in Knoxville, TN. Linda enjoyed spending time with her three sons and her grandson and in her spare time could often be found on Norris Lake with her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother: Carol Black; grandparents: William E. & Frances Black and her brother: Billy Black.

Survived by sons & daughter-in-law: Jason (fiancé Courtney Davies) Bittinger of Loves Park IL, Bradley (Rachel) Bittinger of Norris, TN and Kolton Hicks of Andersonville, TN; father: Gene (Sandy) Black of Camden; sisters: Deborah Sue (Ron) Carver of Harvest, AL and Penny Rebecca (Doug) Rhodus of Camden; brother: Larry Black of Camden; grandson: Ashton Lane Bittinger; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, OH with Rev. Marvin Hocker officiating. Interment will be held in Hopewell Cemetery near Morning Sun, OH. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
