Lillian E. Whitesell

Lillian E. Whitesell, age 96, of Eaton, OH died on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born on September 29, 1917 in Union County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late John T. Sr. & Velva R. (Spradling) Lindsey. Lillian attended Sugar Valley United Methodist Church and was a charter member of #4 Farm Bureau Discussion Group. Preceded in death by her husband: Louis S. Whitesell in 2009; Son-in-law: Robert L. Petro in 2002; grandson: Robert Junior Petro in 1983; brothers: John Thomas Lindsey Jr. in 1988; Willis Lindsey in 1926; sister: Lois Buck in 1979.

Survived by her daughter: Mary Petro and sons & daughters-in-law: Robert L. & Beulah Whitesell and Donald L. & Helen Whitesell all of Camden, OH; sister: Caryl Thomas of Eaton, OH; brothers: Eugene Lindsey of Arizona and Kenneth Lindsey of Eaton, OH. 10 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home – 220 East Main Street – Eaton, OH. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 with Rev. Gerald Sadai officiating at the funeral home. Interment will be in College Corner Cemetery, West College Corner, Indiana.
