Lillian Alberta Mason

LILLIAN ALBERTA MASON, age 97, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on May 13, 1910 in Grant County Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Albert Harvey & Lillian F. (Baker) Mendenhall. She retired as a sales clerk from a dress shop in Lakeland, Florida and was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Eaton, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband: Fred Rolly Mason in 1991; brothers: Earl, Chester, George, Ray & Charlie Mendenhall.

Survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Donald F. & Lucille Mason and Jan D. & Deloris Mason all of Eaton, Ohio. Daughters and son-in-law: Sunnye Rae Gardner of Eaton, Ohio, Laverna Layland of Orlando, Florida and Yolanda Kay & Jim Bethel of Chillicothe, Ohio. Sister and brother-in-law: Laverna Bell & John McFarland of Saint Francisville, Illinois. Over 120 other relatives surviving.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, 1320 North Maple Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Panacea, Florida. Family and friends will gather following the service in the church activity room.
