Lila Lee Mason

Lila L. Mason, age 91 of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Born on September 30, 1932, in Eaton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Russell L. and Winifred A. (Kiracofe) Loser.

A 1950 graduate of Lanier High School, Lila was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Oxford, Ohio, a charter and life member of The Preble County Art Association and member of the Rosie Red Hatters of Eaton and Club 18.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frederick Joseph Mason in 2008; brother and sister-in-law, James A. Loser in 1963 and Carolyn Loser in 1970; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice (Loser) and Ronald Erisman in 2006; daughter-in-law, Deborah Mason in 2019; sisters, Helen Reeve in 2012 and Sharel Ann Ouellet in 2021.

Lila is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Richard T. and Fonda Mason and Matthew W. Mason; grandchildren, Amber Mason, Chad Mason, and Shawn Mason; nieces and nephews.  

Services will be held at the convenience of the family with arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes- Eaton, Ohio.
