Lila L. Haddix

Lila L. Haddix, age 86 of Camden, Ohio, died Friday, June 2, 2023, at Vancrest of Eaton. Born on October 17, 1936, in Christopher, Perry County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Opal (Stidham) Clay.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer H. Haddix in 2009, siblings, Charles Clay, Maxine Oliver, Clarence Clay, Shirley Byrd, Samuel Clay, and Bobby Clay.

Lila’s life was her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who treasured her time spent with her family. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Jess Herald, Ruth and Roy Lucas and Loretta and Michael Parker; grandchildren, James (Tiffany), Jessica, and Mark Herald; Josh (Lindsey) Lucas, Jake and Abby Elam, and Tim and Sarah Parker; great grandchildren, Andrianna, Jameson, Jace, Jackson, Jacob, Ethan, Markesia, Carter and Haddix; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m.  on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Dr. Greg F. Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
