Lester W. Peters

LESTER W. PETERS, age 93 of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Brookville, Ohio died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born on November 5, 1912 in Eaton, Ohio, he was the son of the late David E. & Cora F. (Earman) Peters. He was a 1930 Eaton High School graduate and had attended Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana. He had worked for the Mobil Oil Company in Eaton for 20 years and was the Co-Owner and operator of the Brookville Flower Shop for 15 years retiring in 1970. He was a WW II U.S. Army veteran having served in the Pacific Theater as a medic. In addition to the Eaton and Brookville areas, Lester and June also made Centerville, Ohio their home. Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years: June S. (Stephens) Peters on January 31, 2006; Brother: J. Everett Peters.

Survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Carol L. & Norman Cail of Longmont, Colorado and Julie A. & Stephen Kleinhen of Eaton; Three Grandchildren: Crystal (Rob) Taulbee, Matthew (April) Cail and Todd (Michelle) Cail and Four Great Grandchildren: Zachary and Mikaela Cail, Jacob & Eli Taulbee.

A Private gathering will be held at the convenience of the family.
