Leslie R. "Les" Brower

Leslie R. “Les” Brower, 91 of Lewisburg, died, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his residence. Born on August 20, 1933 in Perry Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Alice L. (Smith) Brower. Les was the Owner/Operator of Brower's Auto Salvage in Lewisburg since 1958. He was a 1952 Lewisburg Union High School graduate and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a founding member of the Lewisburg Historical Society, and a member of the Massie – Harris – Ferguson Tractor Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Wife: Thelma Jean (Shiverdecker) Brower in 2021; Son-in-law: Mark D. Bertke.

Survived by his Son: Edward L. (Linda) Brower; Daughter: Gina M. Bertke; Sisters: Betty Cooper and Pattie Stuart; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
