Larry S. "Steve" Knight

LARRY S. "STEVE" KNIGHT, 61, of New Paris, Ohio and formerly of Centerville, Indiana, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on June 3, 1950 in Richmond, Indiana, son of Edward Allen & Rose Mary (Keever) Knight, Jr. Steve was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School and worked at Belden in Richmond, Indiana for 42 years as an extruder operator. Steve attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris. Steve was an avid golfer, bowler, and pool player.

Survived by his parents, Edward Allen & Rose Mary Knight, Jr. of New Paris, Ohio; brother & sister-law, Jim & Peggy Knight of Kershaw, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Karen & Greg Steiner of Arlington, Texas, Kristina (Carlon Vanchure) Knight of Troy, Ohio, Jamie & Josh Gainey of Lugoff, South Carolina, Kevin Stogner of Kershaw, South Carolina, and Josh Sellers of Kershaw, South Carolina; great nieces and great nephews, Lindsay, Shelby, Kayla, Mason, Abby, and Cameron.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Pam Weaver officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the funeral home and from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity. Online Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
