Ladonna J. Tucker

Ladonna J. Tucker, 76, of New Paris, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Richmond, Indiana. Born on June 20, 1948 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Franklyn E. and Ruth K. (George) Dickerson.

Ladonna retired from Hand-in-Hand Adult Day Center in Richmond, Indiana after 20 years of dedicated service. She was a 1966 graduate of Eaton High School, member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris, she was part of Stephens Ministry. She loved crafts, scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends, and never met a stranger.

She was ready to go home and be with Jesus where her faith was solid in Him. She is no longer suffering and is whole in the arms of the Lord, singing and dancing with everyone she loved.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Siblings: Juanita King, Dennis L. Dickerson and Roger Dickerson.

Survived by her Daughter and Son-in-law: Jennifer and Rob Miller; Sisters: Roseanna (Don) Wadleigh and Noel Tucker; Brothers: Franklyn E. “Butch” (Vivian) Dickerson, II, and Michael (Marilyn) Dickerson; Best Friend and caregiver: Carolyn Abney, and little buddies: Karter and Gideon, many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grand Cat Gidget, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at St Paul United Methodist Church, 301 East Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Michael Shaeffer officiating. The interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the church.
