L. Loree Williams

L. LOREE WILLIAMS, 91 of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born on September 3, 1921 in Gasper Township, Preble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Hilbert and Josie (Duggins) Oler. She was a 1939 graduate of Eaton High School and was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. She retired from Westvaco in Eaton and had also worked at Natco in Richmond, Indiana. She was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ; a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 215 and was a former member of the Club 18 all of Eaton;

In addition to her parents Loree is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, W. Luther Williams in 2010; brother, Ellsworth Oler in 1983 and her sister, Avis Miley in 2001.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol (Bill) Murphy of Eldorado, Ohio; Barbara (Dave) Ferriell and Peggy (Ron) Hayes both of Eaton and Judy (Marty) Donovan of Stafford, Virginia; grandchildren; Marilyn (Gary) Gates, Jay Murphy (Denise Brown), Teresa Glander, Donnie (Keri) Hayes, Matthew, Patrick, and Katy Donovan; great grandchildren, Cody and Trevor Gates; Tyler and Kole Glander and Callie Hayes; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Roger L. Stine officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens with full military honor provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
