L. Derrell Duncan

L. Derrell Duncan, age 58, of Richmond, IN passed away on April 26, 2015 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Derrell was born on January 4, 1957 in Richmond, IN to Lewis E. & Edna M. (Sizemore) Duncan. Graduate of National Trail High School, class of 1976. Derrell was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Richmond for over 28 years. Derrell was a Deputy Sheriff for several years on the Mounted Patrol.

Preceded in death by his father, Lewis E. Duncan; son, Justin Duncan.

Survived by his mother, Edna (Don) Quesenberry of New Paris, OH; sons, Chad (Jennifer) O'Neil of Richmond, IN and Derrell (Jessie) Duncan of Dayton, OH; daughters, Deanna Duncan of Arizona and Casey (Steven) Markley of Richmond, IN; brothers, Dale (Susan) Duncan of Williamsburg, IN and Darren (Lisa) Duncan of New Paris, OH; grandchildren, David, Taylor, Lexus, Dakota, Sidney, Alaina, Natalie and Bryson; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Friday, May 1, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 1, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating. Interment will be at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
