Kimberly Jo (Stikeleather) Hoos, age 47 of New Paris, Ohio died, Wednesday, August 8, 2007 after a long battle with cancer at Hospice of Dayton. Born on March 5, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona, she was the daughter of Charles Richard & Thelma Lois (Stikeleather) Chris, Jr. She is a beloved daughter, mother, sister, companion and friend. The family would like to thank Kim’s companion, Johnny Stokes for his devoted love and constant care through this extremely difficult time and also to Kim’s ex-husband, Bob Hoos who is a loving father and grandfather to Zack, Candice, and Wyatt.
Preceded in death by her grandmother: Juanita Lawson; sister: Cheryl Stokes; brothers-in-law: Don Anderson and J. D. Collins.
Survived by her step father & mother: Charles Richard & Thelma Lois (Stikeleather) Chris, Jr. of Richmond, Indiana; son & daughter-in-law: Zachariah Lee “Zack” & Kinsey Hoos of Lafayette, Indiana; daughter: Candice Marie Hoos of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother & sister-in-law: Rocky & Karen Stikeleather of Arizona; sisters & brother-in-law: Linda Sherman of Arizona, Kathy Collins of Arizona, Sue Moore of California, Becky Anderson of Pennsylvania, Allison & Phil Bettelon of Indiana; grandchild: Wyatt Lee Hoos of Lafayette, Indiana; ex-husband: Bob Hoos of Indiana; special companion: Johnny Stokes of New Paris, Ohio; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church - 121 South 18th Street - Richmond, Indiana with Pastor Jerry Mielke officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society - Preble County, Ohio, Southwest Region - 2808 Reading Road - Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
