KENNETH W. VANCE, age 82 of Eaton, OH died Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Dayton, OH. He was born on October 8, 1932 in Ferguson, MO, son of the late Elmer Franklin & Julia Wilma (Voss) Vance. Kenneth was a Korean War veteran and worked for 30 years for Ozark Air Lines in St. Louis, MO, where he was an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and for Stevens Aviation at the Dayton International Airport in Vandalia, OH. He was a member of the Ozark Air Lines Silver Swallows Alumni Association and the St. Louis Soaring Association. Kenneth had been a resident of Eaton for 22 years. In addition to his love of flying, Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Vance and sister, Delores Winner.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jeanne (Goff) Vance; sons & daughter-in-law: Richard K. and Marcia Vance of Defiance, MO and Steven R. Vance of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Amy (Cory) Schramm, Tracy (Rich) Kuberski and Stephanie (Mike) Horstmeier; 10 great grandchildren.
