Kenneth Ray Kelly

Kenneth Ray Kelly, 82, of Iron River, Michigan, formerly New Paris, Ohio, died Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Iron River. Born on June 30, 1940, in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Troy Avery and Opal Elizabeth (Reed) Kelley. Kenneth was a United States Air Force veteran and retired from Ken Construction, Inc., where he was the owner and operator. He was a member of the Masonic Fellowship Lodge # 106 F & AM in New Paris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives, Barbara Jean (Pruett) Kelly in 2003, and Nelda Ruth (Kimbrell) Kelly in 2019; infant daughter, Karen Kay Kelly in 1961; brother: William Earl Kelley in 1939; Brother-in-law: Paul Richard "Dick" Frist in 2018.

Survived by Sons & Daughters-in-law: Curt (Ann) Kelly and Troy (Margaret) Kelly; stepchildren, Pamela Foust (Steve) Mann, Rod (Pam) Martin, Kevin (Lisa) Butler, Steve (Dena) Butler and Derek Butler; sisters, Darcas (Elmer “Wayne”) Kirkpatrick and Dorothy Frist; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with a Masonic Lodge service at 7:00 P.M.
