Kay Louise Tyler, age 77, of Camden, OH, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 in Oxford, OH. She was born on December 16, 1937 in Mason City, Iowa, daughter of the late William S. & Elsie (Gilbert) Kollman. In the early 1980's, she and her family lived in Ireland for a number of years. Kay was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden where she was active in church events and Order of the Eastern Star #225 in Oxford, OH. She loved bird watching, knitting and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 56 ½ years, Tom O. Tyler; children: Karen (Ron) Clark, Carlisle, OH, Barbara (T.J.) Schnapp, Eaton, OH and William Tyler, Camden, OH. Sister: Carolyn (Al) Jourdan, Riverside, IL; Grandchildren, Sherri (Phillip) Michaud, Monroe, OH, Shawna Clark, Loveland, OH, Adam Clark, Cincinnati, OH, Amy (Nathan) Hake, Eaton, OH; great grandchildren: Elli, Lexi and Harlan Hake, Brennan and Reid Michaud.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 North Liberty St., Camden, OH with Rev. Dr. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, one hour prior to service.
