Kay Ellen Frazee

KAY ELLEN FRAZEE, age 71, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on September 13, 1938 in Ansonia, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harold Edward & Nora Ethel (Boyd) Schmidt. Kay was a 1956 graduate of Lewisburg-Union High School and was retired from the Tri County North School District where she was a cashier for 25 years. She was a bookkeeper for Dr. Trittschuh in Lewisburg for many years and was a member of the Lewisburg First United Church of Christ, where she served as the church secretary for over 25 years. Kay was a member of the Lewisburg Flower Club "Pickalily". Preceded in death by her son, Christopher J. Frazee in 2004 and her brother, Charles E. Schmidt in 2002.

Kay is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Mahlon Frazee; daughter & son-in-law, Melissa & Tom Leugers of San Antonio, Texas; daughter-in-law, Ceci (Zug) Frazee of Brookville, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, Donald & Lynette Schmidt of West Alexandria, Ohio; sisters & brother-in-law, Edith Cool of Greenville, Ohio and Judy & Dick Schmidt of Lewisburg, Ohio; grandsons, James Christopher Frazee and Matthew and Justin Leugers; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday July 23, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
