Kathryn C. Mcgarey

KATHRYN C. McGAREY, age 87, formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Monday April 19, 2004 at the Gwynedd Square Center in Lansdale PA. Born on November 19, 1916 in Lewisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Edmund Harrison & Josephine (Denton) Coffman. She was a graduate of Portsmouth, Ohio High School
and Miami University at Oxford, Ohio. She retired in 1978 after 32 years as a teacher in the Lewisburg School Systems. Kathryn was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church; Delta Theta Tau Sorority and the Ideal Chapter #293 Order of Eastern Star all of Lewisburg, Ohio. Preceded in death by her Husband: Clarence E. "Mac" McGarey in 1973; infant Sister: Emily Coffman.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: Edmund H. "Doc" & Donna McGarey of Orlando, FL; Brother: Robert Francis Coffman of Louisville, KY. Sisters: Joanne Sauer of West Alexandria, Ohio and Betty Gilmer of Lewisburg, Ohio. Grandson: Jacob Morgan McGarey.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M.(Ohio Time) Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, 2004 from 4 - 7 P.M.(Ohio Time) at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to
