Katherine Jean Stephens

Katherine Jean Stephens, 79, of New Paris, Ohio died on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Golden Living Center – Golden Rule in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 31, 1932 in Richmond, Indiana, daughter of the late James Richard & Ruth Ellen (Ayers) Stinson. Katherine was a graduate of Centerville High School. She was a retired nurse and had worked at Centerville Public Schools, the New Castle Detention Center, and Reid Hospital in Richmond. She had lived in New Paris since 1957.

Preceded by her husband, Clarence Russell "Zippo" Stephens in 2010.

Survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Michael C. Stephens of Centerville, Indiana and Daniel M. & Debbie Stephens of New Paris, Ohio; daughter, Rebecca E. & Kevin W. Gruber of Greenville, Ohio; several grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Pam Wooden officiating.
