Karen Fay Crosier was born July 1st, 1938 in the home of her parents on the family farm situated in Lanier Township, Preble County, Ohio. As a young woman she made a confession of faith in Jesus Christ, was baptized, and then received into the fellowship of the Old German Baptist Brethren church.
On August 12th of 1956 she married Robert Lee Crosier in the home of her parents. They were married for 50 years until he preceded her in death in 2006. As well as her husband, she joins her parents and her great-granddaughter Dezirae on the streets of gold.
Karen's unconditional love for her family has given us a legacy of memories to comfort us. Karen's youthful and lighthearted spirit drew young people to her, and she taught joy, mercy and charity to all the children in her life. With her vibrant enthusiasm she infused joy into countless wedding days with her cakes. She found inspiration in the color purple and she decorated her life with it. She taught us to be cheerful, to be useful, to be kind. She impressed compassion for the needy and the importance of helping others to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her devoted faith in Jesus Christ and our shared hope of eternal life sustains until we reunite on Heaven's shore.
She is survived by her children: Ray and Dawn Johnson, Dirk & Denise Crosier and Delk Crosier. Her Grandchildren: Jessica & Jacob Nelson, Denee and Travis Rohrer, Darad and Desiree Crosier, Hanna and Douglas Garber, Denver and Chelsea Crosier, Katelyn and Barry Koffer, Ash and Ella Deaton, and Winston Crosier. Her great-grandchildren: Sarena, Isaac, Truman, Alexandra, Theodore Felicity, Evalena, & Max Rohrer. Gunner, Lynlee, Asher, & Gatlyn Crosier. Slater Garber. Benjamin, Greyson, Rowan & Willow Crosier, Finn and Hatteras Deaton and Charli and Bo Koffer. Her Brother Reid Brubaker & wife Liz. Her Nephew Ross Brubaker and wife Jessica and their daughter Evalena. Also, Niece Sara Dolittle and husband Jed and their children Case & Remi.
On June 19th, 2021 in the same farmhouse where she was born, she gracefully stepped through death's doorway and was received into her Redeemer's arms. We rejoice as she joins loved ones to worship at the feet of Jesus free from earthly cares.
