June W. Ovall

June W. (Mattix) Ovall, age 83, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, November 11, 2005, at Heartland of Eaton. Born on July 17, 1922 in Preble County, Ohio to the late Charles E. & Mary C. (White) Mattix. June retired in 1989 after 40 years as a housekeeper for area residences. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Eaton, Ohio, member of the Eastern Star Chapter #182 Gleaners of West Alexandria, Ohio, and member of the Eaton Senior Citizens.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Herbert B. Oval in 1990; brother: Joseph Mattix in 1993; half brother: Clifford A. Sears in 1974; sister-in-law: Bessie Sears in 1993.

Survived by her nephew: Richard Sears of Richmond, Indiana; niece: Carol Davis of Alabama.

Funeral Services will held on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 11:00 am at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Minister Russ Howard officiating. Eastern Star Service will be held at 10:45 am. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
