Judy K. Wood, age 86, formerly of New Paris, OH died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Rose Gate Village Nursing Home in Richmond, IN. Born on February 7, 1923 in Deane, KY daughter of the late Ernest R. & Sarah (Cook) Hall.

Preceded by sons: Darrell Hall and Denver Ray Hall; grandson: Woody Hall; companion: Elvas Carl Tumbleson in 2000; sisters: Minerva Leadingham in 2008; Margie Bentley, Barbara Sergent and Nannie Amburgery; brothers: Edwin Hall, Ernest Hall, Jr; Eugene Hall; Henry Hall; Floyd Bentley; Leonard Bentley and Ewens Bentley.

Survived by sister: Virginia Burden of Shelbiana, KY; 2 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren; close friend: Louise Gossett of Richmond, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, December 7, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with Myrel Ballinger officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
