Juanita Jean Hemmerich

Juanita Jean Hemmerich, 89, of Verona, OH, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at her residence. Born on October 7, 1927 in Verona, she was the daughter of the late Lester D. & Elsie M. (Hendrickson) Detro. She was a 1945 graduate of Verona High School and had retired from Parker Hannifin in Englewood, OH. Member of the Knights of Pythias, Pythian Sister in Verona.

Preceded in death by Husband: Joyce J. "Snoz" Hemmerich in 2004; Son: Daryl D. Hemmerich in 1977; Daughter-in-law: Connie Hemmerich in 2003; Grandsons: Gabriel Izor in 1978 and Garrett Izor in 1999; Great granddaughter: Amber Kizer in 2004; Sister: Patty Lou Eby in 2005; Brother: Lester Dwain Detro in 2016.

Survived by Sons and daughters-in-law: Alfred D. & Judy Hemmerich, Jack M. & Carol Hemmerich and Jerry J. Hemmerich; Daughters and sons-in-law: Sheila D. & Jeffrey Curtis, Shirley C. & Chris McGriff. Brother: Darwin L. Detro; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
