Juanita Frances Ledwell

JUANITA FRANCES LEDWELL, 85, of Eaton, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Alterra Sterling House of Richmond. Born on December 5, 1920 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John & Regina (Chafin) Craycraft. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years: Clarke Keller Ledwell in 2004; Brother: Roy E. Craycraft in 2001, Robert Craycraft, William Craycraft; Sisters: Lupie McGuire in 1992 and Mary Coldiron in 2000.

Mrs. Ledwell retired from Dayton Schools, having taught for West Alexandria School from 1956 - 1961 and Huffman School in Dayton from 1961 - 1977. She was a member of OEA and The Church of Christ of Eaton.

Survivors include: Daughter: Karen Sue Buriff of Eaton, OH, Son: Dennis Clarke Ledwell of Eaton; Sister: Ruby Protzman of Hamilton, OH. Five grandchildren: Doug Buriff of Eaton, Scott Ledwell of South Carolina, Becky Ochs of Colorado, Tim Ledwell of Florida and John Ledwell of Tennessee; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2006 - 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Christ - 725 U.S. Rt. 35 West - Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Russell Howard officiating. Interment will be in Somerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio.
