Joyce Ann Bailey

JOYCE ANN BAILEY, age 72, of East Lansing, Michigan and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2011. Joyce was born on April 6, 1939 in Camden, Ohio, daughter of Earl E. & Joyce K. (Purvis) Sheard. Member of the First Baptist Church in West Alexandria, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her father, Earl E. Sheard in 1994; husband, Pastor Leon Bailey in 2005; son, Christopher Bailey; daughter, Debra Bailey; brother, Roger Sheard in 2002; sister, Sondra Conklin.

Survived by her mother, Joyce K. Sheard of Eaton, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Connie A. & Tom Fox of East Lansing, Michigan; sons & daughters-in-law, Keith D. & Nancy A. Bailey of Ft. White, Florida and Noel L. & Peggy S. Bailey of Camden, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Homes, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Jerry Carter officiating. Interment will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
