JOSEPHINE WYSONG, age 77, of New Paris, Ohio died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Born on June 9, 1927 in Alpine, Fayette County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Macie & Maggie (Hollandsworth) Hornsby. She had worked at Mercury Records - Phillips Recording in Richmond, Indiana for 20 years and had worked at the Lampost in New Paris. Member of American Legion Aux #360 at New Paris. Preceded in death by Husband: Andrew I. Wysong on September 2, 2004; Brothers; Isaac, Lester and Lloyd Hornsby; Sister: Pauline North.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: Robert J. & Garnet Wysong of Eaton, Ohio; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Beverly J. & Gayle Settles and Carol & Terry Plankenhorn both of New Paris, Ohio; Brothers: Edward Hornsby, Fort Pierce, Florida, David Hornsby, Indianapolis, Indiana. Five Grandchildren: Mike Plankenhorn, Andrea Cassel, Robert “Bobby” Wysong Jr., Greg Swallow, and Kimberly Clark; 13 Great Grandchildren. Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) on Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home.
