Johnny F. Shannon

Johnny F. Shannon, age 73, of Somerville, OH, died peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in Somerville, OH. Born on December 10, 1939 in Wauseon, Ohio son of the late, Donald E. & Opal V. (Miller) Shannon. He had worked for over 30 years as a telephone repairman before retirement. John loved to work on cars and enjoyed racing for many years as owner of Shannon Racing.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 37 years, Evelyn (Pendergrass) Shannon in 2013;

Survived by his many family and friends.

Family Gathering will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Nein Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, OH 45311 and a Funeral Service will be follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Douglas Rose officiating. Interment will be held at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton, OH.
