JOHNITHIAN DANIEL REECE, age 16, of Camden, Ohio died Friday, August 21, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on November 29, 1992 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Johnithian was a member of the junior class of Preble Shawnee High School and was to attend the Miami Valley Career Technology Center to major in Agricultural Technology. He was a very active member of the Miamisburg Assembly of God where he was involved with the FCF, the Royal Ranger and traveled with his youth group. Johnithian loved the outdoors especially camping and fishing. A true servant of the Lord, Johnithian was always willing to lend a helping hand and chose to give of himself by donating his organs so that others may have life. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe D. and Provie Reece.
Survived by his parents, Darrell L. & Linda (Gross) Reece; brothers and sisters, Matthew Reece , Lacy and Kayla Reece all of Camden, Samantha Reece of Hamilton, Ohio and Christian James Adkins; biological parents, Jerry & Tammy Reece; maternal grandparents, Homer & Molly Gross of Hamilton; aunts and uncles, Elmer & Kathleen Reece & daughter Wilma Garcia; Bill & Marcie Hebenstreit & daughter Heather Jo Smith; Darrell J. Reece and Mike & Brenda Koedel; numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Miamisburg Assembly of God, 501 N. 9th St., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 with Rev. Brian Simon, Rev. Blaine Markland and Senior Pastor John Swint officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Hickory Flat Cemetery, Morganthaler & Wehr Rd., Butler County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Higher Heights Church of God, 8111 S. U.S. Rt. 127, Camden, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements entrusted to Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, Camden, Ohio.
