John York

JOHN YORK, age 90, of West Alexandria, Ohio died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on September 23, 1912 in Bingham, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Anderson & Marinda (Napier) York. He retired in 1977 from the Cincinnati Gear Compay where he was a machinist. Member of the Masonic Lodge # 121 in Cadiz, Kentucky. Prior to moving to Preble County in 1997 he had lived in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Preceded in death by Daughter: Doris Alfred in 1999; Brothers: George York and Elyus Helton; Sisters: Lucille Baird, Bertha Reel, Lillian Carroll and Evelyn West.

Survived by his Wife of 67 years: Louise (Stone) York; Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Ronda & Raymond Kuhn of Milford, Ohio and Shauna & Rick Webster of West Alexandria, Ohio; Grandchildren: Tasha and Samantha Webster, Crystal Allen and Anthony Kuhn. 5 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 24, 2003 - 11:00 A.M. at the Barnes Funeral Home- 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio. Entombment will be in Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to the family via Guest Book at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
