John W. Myers, Jr.

JOHN W. MYERS, JR., 67, of New Paris, Ohio and formerly of Dayton, Ohio, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Reid Hospital and Healthcare Services in Richmond, Indiana. He was born September 27, 1940 in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a 1959 graduate of Madison Township High School in Trotwood, Ohio. Johnny loved his family and the outdoors but his life was about music. For the past 15 years he devoted his time and talent with the "Johnny Myers Show". He is preceded in death by his mother, Eula Lillian( Thurman) Myers in 1996; brothers, Ronald Steven Myers in 1976 and David Allen Myers in 2003 and brother-in-law, Kenneth Adkins in 1997.

Survived by his father, John W. Myers, Sr. of Liberty, Indiana; sister, Susan Elaine Adkins of New Paris; nieces and nephews, Michelle(Gabe) Washington, Jesse(Kira), James and Jerry Adkins and close friend, Steve Gray of New Paris.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family via the web site at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
