John F. Reynolds, Iii

John F. Reynolds III, 64, of Eldorado, died suddenly in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at his residence. His death was unexpected, even though he had been ill for several years. He was born July 27th, 1944 in Jellico, TN. to John Frank & Melvia Mae (Craig) Reynolds, Jr. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam war. On October 11, 1964, in Dayton, OH, he married Linda M.Rose. He was a kind, gentle man, and will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Survivors include his mother Melvia Hamitte of Bean Station, TN; wife Linda; daughter Nicole Christine Moore & husband Aaron; 5 Grandchildren: Joshua Moore; Adam (Jessica) Moore; Garrett, Dalton & Angelica Boyatt; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Luke & Cole Snow; half-brothers: John Lynn Pace, Knoxville, TN; Christopher Reynolds, Dayton, OH; Mark Reynolds, Union, OH; half-sisters: Jana Frazee, Greensburg, TN; Karen Lynn Berry, Bean Station, TN; and last, but not least, Josie, the parrot.

He was preceeded in death by his father, John Frank Reynolds Jr.; half-brother, Michael Hamitte; step-father Julius Ray Hamitte.

The inurnment ceremony of John F. Reynolds will be held at 10:30 am Friday, April 17, 2009 at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, U.S. Rt 40, Brookville, Ohio. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Preble County Honor Guard.
